GIVING
CDSW Tile Program
CDSW is excited to offer paintable ceramic tiles for purchase. Each 6-inch tile includes your child’s name and handprint. Completed tiles will be permanently hung inside the school where they can be viewed and admired by parents, students, and visitors. Purchasing a tile is a wonderful way to leave a lasting legacy of your child's pre-school experience. A donation of $35 is required for each tile.
How Your Donation will be Used
After deducting the cost of the tile and installation, your donation will be used to continue the programs and activities of CDSW, including the daily operations of the school.
How To Make Your Tile Donation
You must complete an order form for each tile and bring or mail the form with your donation (checks payable to CDSW) to 111 Ridgefield Rd. Wilton CT. 06897, Attention: Vice chairperson. We will contact you to schedule your child or children for the handprint process. If you should have any additional questions, please call us.
CDSW Brick Program
The Children's Day School of Wilton has a program which allows you to leave a permanent mark on CSDW History: a brick engraved with your name or the name of someone you wish to honor or remember.
Each brick measures 4"x8" and is an attractive antique red with black epoxy filled letters (centered) in Vermarco font. New bricks will join those already there on the pathway leading to the school to be viewed each day by students, teachers and parents! An engraved brick may be the perfect way to "leave your mark" on CDSW history, or memorialize or honor someone else. These bricks also make great gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person who "has everything."
Minimum donation for each engraved brick is $750.
NOTE: CDSW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
How Your Donation will be Used
After deducting the cost of the brick, the engraving and installation, your donation will be used to continue the programs and activities of CDSW, including the daily operations of the day school.
How To Make Your Brick Donation
You must complete an order form for each brick and bring or mail the form with your donation (checks payable to CDSW) to 111 Ridgefield Rd. Wilton, CT. 06897, Attention: Vice chairperson
Each brick inscription may have up to three (3) lines of text with up to 12 characters per line. Spaces and punctuation count as characters.
NOTE: Although bricks will be engraved and installed in a timely manner, the date of placement cannot be guaranteed due to requirements of the engraver and the necessity to hire an outside contractor to install the bricks. Donors will be notified when their brick has been installed.
There are days I pinch myself because we are so thrilled with my daughter's teachers. Remember the best teacher you had as a child? The one who made you feel safe, silly, proud, and gleeful all at once. They're ALL that good.
