Twos

The Day School offers two programs: one day per week and two days per week. All children must turn two by 12/31.

Two's programs offer a gentle entry into the preschool world. Classes are designed to facilitate social development in young learners by providing opportunities for group and individual activities encompassing art, music, stories and play. Guided by the teachers the children develop language and self management skills. Teacher to student ratio is 1:4.

One Day 2s [$1,800]:

• Monday, 9:00am to 11:30am (must be two by 12/31)

Two Day 2s [$3,050]:

• Monday & Wednesday, 9:00 - 11:30 (must be two by 9/30)
• Monday & Thursday, 9:00 - 11:30 (must be two by 12/31)

Threes

Two programs are offered for three-year-old children. The school day consists of child-directed play, circle time, snack time and time spent outdoors. This program is designed to foster independence and age appropriate social skills. Teacher to student ratio is: 1:7. All children must turn three by 12/31.

Two Day 3s [$3,150]

• Wednesday & Friday, 9:00-11:45
• Starting in October 2012, program will run from 9:00-12:30 and include lunch

Three Day 3s [$4,100]

• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 9:00-11:45
• Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 - 11:45
• Starting in October 2012, program will run from 9:00-12:30 and include lunch

Fours

Three day and four day per week programs are offered for four-year-old children. Lunch Bunch (an extension of the regular school hours) begins early in the school year. Fours programs build on the children's experiences in the Threes. Theme-based curriculum provides opportunities for children to explore, discover and learn. Fours classes take several field trips. In addition, appropriate opportunities are provided for the children to experience pre-kindergarten skills. Teacher to student ratio is 1:8. All children must turn four by 12/31.

Three Day 4s [$5,100]

• Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 9:00-1:00
• Includes lunch

Four Day 4s [$6,025]

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9:00-1:00
• Includes lunch

Fives

One program is offered for five-year-old children. The Fives program is a developmental program for children who need more time before they enter kindergarten. This class meets five days per week, with a longer school day that includes lunch four days per week. We recognize that five-year-olds need a more cognitive curriculum, with play that has more purpose. The children in this program explore themes such as Native Americans, the night sky, the human body and the earth. We refer to this program as a "gift of a year". Teacher to student ratio is 1:8. All children must turn five by 12/31.

Fives [$7,060]

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00-1:30
• Friday 9:00-12:00
• Children bring their lunch each day; no lunch on Friday

New! Kindergarten Enrichment

CDSW staff will offer a Kindergarten Enrichment Program in the afternoons, and a morning drop off program. Children attending Kindergarten will take the bus to CDSW and have lunch at the school. The program will offer the children an opportunity to have time to meet up with old friends from The Day School and practice the skills learned at Miller-Driscoll. Two programs will be available:

• Afternoons from 1:10-3:30
• Mornings drop off at 8:00 am

Extended Day

There is an extended day program available Monday through Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
