Twos
The Day School offers two programs: a parent/child class that meets one day per week, and a drop-off class that
meets two days per week. All children must turn two by 12/31.
Threes
Two programs are offered for three-year-old children. Class size is limited to fourteen children, with two teachers.
The school day consists of child-directed play, circle time, snack time and time spent outdoors. This program is
designed to foster independence and age appropriate social skills. All children must turn three by 12/31.
Fours
Two programs are offered for four-year-old children. Class size is limited to sixteen children, with two teachers.
These programs build on the children's experiences in the Threes program. Lunch Bunch begins early in the school
year and the children take several field trips. In addition, because many children will be going on the kindergarten,
appropriate opportunities are provided for the children to experience pre-kindergarten skills. All children must turn
four by 12/31.
Fives
One program is offered for five-year-old children. Class size is limited to sixteen children, with two teachers. The
Fives program is a developmental program for children who need more time before they enter kindergarten. This
class meets four days per week, with a longer school day that includes lunch every day. We recognize that five year
olds need a more cognitive curriculum, with play that has more purpose. The children in this program explore themes
such as Native American, the night sky, the human body and the earth. We refer to this program as a "gift of a year."
All children must turn five by 12/31.

- Twos Together [$953]: The purpose of the "Twos Together" program is to ease the children into school while
developing a community amongst the parents. For this class, the teachers provide art materials and
musical/movement activities for the children and parents to enjoy together. There is also time for reading
together and free play with materials that the children can use alone or with peers. Periodically, a parenting
specialist leafs the parents in a discussion.

- Two Day 2s [$2,741]: Each two year old drop-off class is limited to eight children, with two teachers in each
class. This program provides a safe, creative and nurturing environment that fosters exploration and discovery
through the use of music, are, dramatic and free play. Guided by the teachers, the children develop language
and self-management skills.
