The Children’s Day School of Wilton strives to foster social, intellectual, physical, creative and moral development in children through their own activity and discovery, guided by professional early childhood educators. CDSW understands that children learn through active exploration of their environment and works hard to offer children a place to foster their innate talents.
There are 132 students at the Day School enrolled in the Twos, Threes, Fours and Fives programs. There are 24 teachers and staff supporting the CDSW students and families. CDSW is open to children ages two through five years regardless of race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin or religious affiliation.
The Day School facilities include six well-furnished classrooms, a music/movement room and four playgrounds complete with swings, jungle gyms, slides, sand boxes and other outdoor equipment. In 2013, a new play space was installed that includes a climbing wall, suspension bridge, steering wheels and telescopes; further enhancing opportunities for imaginative group play.
